Project Description
The project aims to replace cobalt in cemented carbide with an iron-based binder, enhancing mechanical properties for rock drilling through ICME modeling and advanced material characterization. The doctoral student will collaborate with international experts in materials research.

Qualifications
A second-cycle degree (Master’s) or at least 240 higher education credits, including at least 60 second-cycle credits. English proficiency (B/6 level).

Salary
€39,101.52 per annum (living and mobility allowance), plus family allowance as applicable and in line with EC rules for Marie Sklodowska Curie doctoral network 2022.
